CIVIL WAR / PIONEER VILLAGE

Come out and bring the family July 3rd and 4th to experience what life was like back in the early 1860's.

Civil War Encampment:

See how Union and Confederate soldiers lived between battles and talk to the members of the 1st Wisconsin Artillery Battery "B".  Come out and see demonstrations of their canons (cover your ears!!!)

Come see John Steppe from Cool Creek Forge, professional Blacksmith.  John will be making items for sale in the encampment.

See how folks roughed it during the early days of our country.  Be careful!!!  Some times these folks settled disputes with a gunfight!!!
